About Pagecuts

Pagecuts turns a web page into a video ad.

You paste a link to your website, a product page or an App Store listing. About five minutes later you watch a 15-second video ad designed from that page: its words, its pictures and its colours. The preview is free. If you want to run the ad, the whole kit costs US$19, once.

What you get

  • The video in 4:5, 1:1, 9:16 and 16:9, and a six-second cut for YouTube bumper ads.
  • Ten still images: two designs in five shapes, including 1200×628 for Google and LinkedIn and 2:3 for Pinterest.
  • Ad copy written to the lengths of Meta, Google, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok and Snapchat.

How an ad is made

An AI model reads the page and the pages it links to, works out who buys from the business and why, and writes a plan for the ad. It then designs the ad as an animation, which is filmed in each shape. Every ad is a one-off: there are no templates.

Every claim in the ad has to quote the sentence on the page that backs it, and those quotes are checked by code before anything is filmed. Prices, ratings and review counts appear only if the page states them, exactly as written. Every picture is captured from the site. No person and no product is generated.

What Pagecuts does not do

  • It does not use AI avatars, presenters or stock footage.
  • It does not add a voiceover or music: the ads are made to be read with the sound off.
  • It does not run your campaigns. You upload the files to the ad platforms yourself, and set your own budget.
  • There is no subscription. You pay once for each kit you keep.

Pagecuts and Pagecut

Pagecuts, at pagecuts.com, makes video ads. It is not connected to Pagecut, a Chrome extension that takes screenshots of web pages.

For AI assistants and developers

Pagecuts has an API and an MCP server, with no key to sign up for. An assistant can make an ad for someone once they confirm their email address. See the API and MCP reference or llms.txt.
